PowerTrace Serial is your solution to explore the operation of your device from the top-level module interactions to the timing of individual instructions. To keep pace even with the fastest multicore processors, we developed our new Aurora 2 preprocessor.
It enables an ultra-high bitrate of up to 90 Gbit/s in total and up to 22.5 Gbit/s per lane, capturing the program flow, task switches, data from multiple cores and other system sources - simultaneiously and at once in far more detail compared to other tools.
PowerTrace Serial enables data trace from PCIe ports for SoCs without a dedicated trace port by acting as a PCIe endpoint for trace data. Our new PCIe Gen4 Preprocessor extends this to PCIe Gen 4 and provides data rates up to 16 Gbit/s per lane.
This allows you to utilize your existing PCIe ports for even more applications. In addition, you may avoid needing costly highspeed transceivers.
