Debug Signals

The pinout of the 40 pin Samtec connector optionally includes the debug signals. The Preprocessor has a 20-pin connector to plug in the Debug Cable. For better signal quality this converter split of the debug signals from the 40 pin SAMTEC HSSTP connector on target to the 20-pin standard debug header.

Trace Signals

Signals TRIGIN and TRIGOUT are related to the tool point of view. TRIGIN means signal going to the trace tool. TRIGOUT means signal coming from the trace tool.

Target Connector Placement

The adaption uses one 40 pin Samtec connector. We recommend to place the even numbered pins at the PCB border side (flex cable won't be twisted).
