Lauterbach TRACE32® now supports MIPS32® 1004K™

Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn, Germany March 2010 - The TRACE32 debuggers from Lauterbach, the manufacturer of microprocessor development tools, now support the new MIPS32 1004K processor.

The MIPS32 1004K micro architecture is the industry′s first multi-threaded multiprocessor IP core delivered within either a single core processor or a scalable multicore processor, which consists of up to four MIPS1004K cores in a cluster. They are designed for applications that demand high performance and lower power consumption.

The EJTAG PDtrace™ (TCB) provides non-intrusive program-flow trace capabilities for either of the MIPS 1004K processors for full visibility into the processor′s instruction flow and enabling profiling analysis.

TRACE32 offers full OS-aware support for all popular operating systems running on asymmetric multiprocessing (AMP) or symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) systems.
