Debugger for Infineon TriCore AUDO FUTURE Family

Lauterbach launches the OCDS-L1 Debugger for the Infineon TriCore AUDO FUTURE product family, supporting TC1736, TC1767, TC1797 as well as the Emulation Devices TC1767ED and TC1797ED.

The TriCore AUDO FUTURE product family is designed for embedded real-time automotive applications and provides high-end microcontroller performance combined with sophisticated DSP capabilities and chip frequencies up to 180 MHz. The devices are equipped with up to 4 MB of embedded flash memory and offer an interrupt system with high response times and low latencies.

Assembler level- and HLL debugging is supported for most commonly used TriCore C/C++ compilers. Debugging at HLL and assembler level, an unlimited number of software breakpoints, batch processing, and the use of on-chip break logic are standard features. Beside this performant programming of the internal flash is supported as well as for a large number of external flash devices. The Peripheral Control Processor (PCP2) can now be debugged from its own GUI.

For device access via the standard JTAG port only a software update is necessary. Debugging via 2- or 3 wire DAP requires a new debug cable which will be available in Q2/2008. Support for OCDS-L3 on-chip trace is under development and will be available soon.
