Support for 3G/DigRF Protocol for Cell Phones
With PowerIntegrator and the 3G/DigRF probes, it is now possible to trace data movement on the 3G/DigRF interface. The high sensitivity of the probes and the low load on the incoming signals guarantee faultless recording of the interface signals.
Recording times varies from a minimum of 25.156 ms (approximately 8 MBits of 3G/DigRF at a rate of 312 MHz) to up to several hours.
Data recording can be stopped by a break point, which is triggered by a debugger or an ETM trace. The protocol analysis then displays each transferred frame protocol with detailed header and payload information whereas the 3G/DigRF protocol is displayed
time correlated to the ETM trace measurements. In addition to a chart representation, a graph of the run times of the I and Q data can also be displayed. The user can decide to further extend the functionality of the analysis software, for example, to
interpret the payload content, since the c-code necessary for generating the DLL is also supplied.
