Energy Test and Analysis System introduces new dimension in debugging The Energy Test and Analysis system (ETA) introduces two new physical dimension to debugging: Joule, the unit to measure energy and Watt to measure the power consumption. Both units can be displayed in graphical, numerical or statistical format. The energy consumption per function or system state can be displayed statistically. The graphical view of the power consumption can be related with the program flow. The current and voltage consumed by the target can be sampled at up to three points by the new Analog Probe. It can be connected to the PowerIntegrator or PowerTrace II unit.
