The Differential Download Technology allows to download only changed portions of the application during repetitive edit/compile/debug cycles. The typical data reduction is about 30:1 when making typical program modifications. This results in a significant increase in download speed. Even targets with long JTAG chains (like MPC8260 or MPC755) can reach an effective download rate of more that 1MByte/sec. with this new approach.
